SACRED MUSIC FESTIVAL
Saturday, March 3, 2007
Eastminster Presbyterian Church Chapel
1958 N Webb Rd in Wichita
You are cordially invited to participate in our 2007 Sacred Music Festival on March 3, 2007. This will be an excellent opportunity for students of all instruments to prepare music which could also be useful for performance in their churches, retirement homes or other settings. Hymns, folk and gospel, contemporary Christian, praise music or any other sacred music would be appropriate. In addition to solo performers, we are encouraging ensembles with varied instrumentation to participate as well. The chapel at Eastminster Presbyterian Church has a grand piano and pipe organ, and a Clavinova will be available, if needed. Music stands for voice, wind and string performers will also be provided. (Ensembles may include friends or family members of your students, as long as one person in each group is a student of a WMMTA teacher.) Please do not use photocopied music.
Registration fees are $8.00 for individual performers or $15.00 for duets or other ensembles. If a teacher plays a duet with a student, the fee is $8.00 for that entrant.
Students: Please contact your teacher and have them send in the required information.
